Dying in the DZ too harsh?

So after hitting lvl 30 last night, I decided to do my daily DZ landmarks and wholly molly its harder (which is good, I like a challenge). My gripe is why do I fully lvl down a whole level, whilst SHD Status (not rogue)? I can understand if I was rogue, but the consequences of dying to npcs are kinda crazy if you ask me. I died twice while engaging a landmark and lost two DZ levels wow. What do you guys think? Do you agree, or do I just need to "get good" lol

This has to be a bug, never lost DZ rank in the first while not rogue, and from what I've read, its not a thing in the 2nd one either.

Weird, not had that happen yet. But I wasn't paying much attention to it. Defiantly something to keep an eye on. Good to know and thanks for the heads.

I hit world tier 4 yesterday, and tried to do my daily in the DZ, and i unlocked the perk to get a daily item from the safe house.

But you need to remain at level 10, no way at GS lower than 420 i was able to clear landmarks. so i tried to get to rank 10, and get to the safe house, took me a good long while.

becouse i got kicked back to DZ rank 9 sevral times.

tbh, as a non rogue, i dont think you should EVER get down levled when you die, as a rogue you should lose a level if you die, so ppl thinking twice about going rogue.

Earlyer today, i saved a guys life, and he got to loot the falling crate, when i whent of, he shot me in the back, and killed me....
one of the reasons i hate the DZ, as if the gaming community dont have salty and *******s enough as it is, no need to cater to that.

It sounds like a bug. You're only supposed to lose DZ xp on death if you are rogue according to the in game tooltips

Before patch 1.1 in The division you lost credits and rank in the DZ while not rogue (if you died) people complained and that's where the nerfing of the DZ started.
