I don't know if it helps anyone but verifying the game installation fixed my crashing issues in both the Beta and in the live version.

In both the beta and the live game it worked fine on launch but as soon as they released a patch my game just crashed randomly, sometimes on startup and sometimes in game but always without an error. I do believe it is to do with the anti-cheat as well. Both times in the beta and in live verifying the installation stopped all my issues.

Might not work for everyone but it worked for me and if people haven't done it they should try it to see if it helps.

i did that and it did absolutely nothing for me, I think I'll just spam this thread everytime my game crashes until someone from ubisoft answers.

Btw just had the quickest crash after logged in, made 2 steps and insta crash 10/10 money well spent so far.

I contacted the support at early release day.
It actually sounds that they have no clue why this is happening.

The guy said that the development team is aware of this issue, but I dunno..

It has NOTHING to do with some programs in the background DX 11 / 12 or what so ever ( at least for me )

I crash no matter what i am doing and I did literally everthing to try to fix this on my own.

I can play like 15 min - crash, I can play 6 hour - crash. It is just so damn random but I really agree that this **** is not really noticed by Ubisoft nor did I read a clear statement and I am pretty sure they are multiple people who cant play the game long or cant even play at all due this crashing!

Same for me, keep crashing every 10 to 30 min without a error code. I drives me nuts and does ruin a bit of gameplay. I use a i5 4670 cpu and a 1060 6gb card running on medium/low settings... Plse UBI soft respond or some info. I tried all the treaths how too "fix it"

    possible fix

Was crashing a lot anywhere from 5min to 1hour of play before adjusting cpu overclock.

cpu is i7-4790k overclocked to 4.9ghz. had to tune it down to 4.8ghz and have played roughly 6-7hours without any crashing in game now.
    gpu gtx 1080 stock speed
    ram 16gig 2133mhz

I would recommend anyone crashing a lot with a overclocked cpu or gpu try playing with overclocks off.

my computer runs smooth at 4.9 while playing division 1 and other games or just casually browsing.

    hope this helps

That right there is the best advise I have heard someone post here all day Transcend_life, there's no need to have your rig overclocked unless you like your gaming unstable.

In beta my game crashes every 5-10min. I disabled Dx12 and uninstalled Nvidia Experience.
My crashes gone!! It's works for me.

I'm not sure what did it, but I was able to play the game for 2 hours without crashes, I followed this guide : , but also there was a patch today that might have fixed this.
For me the game is playable again, I play with DX 12 disabled also.
