Can’t Unlock the Castle Settlement | Forums

After the cutscene at the Castle with Kelso and completing the Jefferson Plaza mission, The Castle Settlement appears to still be locked or inactive and is not highlighted in a green color as if we are ready to interact with it like the other Settlements.

This is a huge concern as it’s disrupting the natural progression of completing the campaign or is it that I’m missing something?

I’m experiencing the same issue. I Just stopped playing because I couldn’t find the main mission marker and there weren’t any exclamation marks in the Castle settlement. I tried closing the application and turning it back on with the hope that it would fix itself but to no avail.

There are two issues here...

If you have the quest to speak to Agent Kelso inside the Castle settlement yet when you go to the door there is no prompt. That is the bug.

Otherwise, the Castle settlement is not supposed to unlock until much later I believe and should remain grey. Do you have the quest to speak to Agent Kelso and can not?

Castle is a dead settlement it’s part of the game. No one will ever be at that location

Castle Settlement is bugged still...when is the patch coming out....paid extra for early access and stuck sitting here not being able to progress...wow...
