Can’t Unlock the Castle Settlement | Forums

Hey folks,

Can you all confirm that you have done the following?

- Fully upgraded the Theater and did the quests from the Theater
- Complete Air and Space Museum
- Complete American History Museum

Yes I have completed all the above and it's still greyed out. I'm playing on a PS4.

I have done the missions, BUT I did the Air-Space-Thing with a group where at least one player was a higher level. I was around 14 and he was 20.
Maybe that has anything to do with it?

I will try replaying the missions solo when I am at home.

Completed all of this. I am about to do the Lincoln Memorial mission. Castle still provides the 7 Survivors cut scene.

I also have the same issue as all the other posters, and have done all of the above.

However - I complete the Air and Space museum mission in a group with friends who had already completed it. They then ran through it with me. I then went to the Castle (from a group member telling me about it and fast travelling to them) and did the Kelso cutscene.

On my map, the Air and Space is still showing blue at the moment, but with no xp reward and advising I can replay it (so I haven't done so yet). I've done the Jefferson Plaza mission, but the castle is greyed out and Kelso keeps telling me about the Jefferson mission. I can fast travel to Castle, but not much point.

There are no more mission available, other than the theatre leader outro, and a level 25 mission up in the northewest (agents in a bunker, or something).

It's be interesting to know if others finished the Air and Space museum mission with a group of others who had already completed it.

I never had a prompt to go to the Castle settlement, I just fast travelled to it with a group member who had already unlocked it. So if there should've been a prompt after the A&S Museum mission, I never got it.

But, on arriving there, Kelso was available and I did get the Jefferson Plaza mission. Completing it gave the mission complete and rewards, but Kelso won't move on.

This is a pretty rough one. I'm getting this too, on PC. I did play both the Air and Space Museum and the American History Museum missions in matchmaking, but everyone was around the appropriate level for the mission. Also, my Theater settlement is 4/4 upgraded.

Really stinks not being able to progress any more through the main story.

I can confirm (PC), I've done all this and I was level 16 when I tried (No other missions to do when I did it) I'm now level 19 and I redid Jefferson Plaza and nothing.

What I'm wondering, is it supposed to remain destroyed or should you be able to upgrade it and it'll behave like the other 2 settlements where there are people?
