I also have the same problem, huge FPS drops and complete PC freezes on high/medium/low settings with minimal difference.
I dont meet the recommended requirements entirely but I should be able to run it easily on my RX 570 with no problems.

Ryzen 1600
Sapphire RX 570 4GB
8GB DDR4 RAM
Installed on Toshiba P300 1TB 7200RPM

Hi AFuture-Certain. Thanks for that information! I can see that your CPU meets the minimum requirements, but does not quite meet the recommended. Because of that, you may want to use the lower end video presets. If you have not already done so, can you do these PC steps? If they did not help, please provide the Pastebin links like this post asks for.

Hi @Acali! Your PC does appear to meet the recommended requirements. Since you mentioned you have it installed on a SSD drive, we recommend installing Uplay and TD2 on your C: drive instead, as this tends to help with performance issues. Disabling Logitech Software has also been proven to help improve performance as well. I'd also recommend the PC steps I provided above, and would also like to see your Pastebin links. Thanks!

My CPU is way above the recommended requirements as it is the desktop equivalent of 6th generation i5 6600K. and GPU is equivalent of GTX 970.

I ended up buying the game for PS4.Yeah graphic quality is way worse than pc but it's playable without a hitch ! I requested a refund for PC version from ubi support and waiting for response.

Same with DX 11 DX 12 makes the stuttering just a tad more. I tried to find the culprit of this problem and it seems some process in game (especially when entering open areas with dense vegetation or explosions etc) spikes cpu usage.After the spike cpu utilisation stays very low for about a couple of seconds then recovers and it is a cycle that never breaks. Overall CPU usage in game rarely exceeds 60% .

I played Closed and Open betas and didn't have any of these issues. Final game? Infrequent bursts of heavy stuttering that's sometimes so bad it crashes resulting in Send Report to Ubi. Yes, Ubisoft you have every single crash report.

I run the game without any problems, everything maxed and not one single crash ever.

The main problem is everyone's computers are different in one way or another. you may have the best processor and graphics card money can buy but the motherboard may have conflicts, you may have drivers or devices that are interfering with addresses in game?

The fact that there's a lot of you with systems more than able to run this game and higher spec's than mine is fact there's issues and Ubisoft and the Dev are working on fixing them, it's going to take time to get it right for everybody but most of the time a patch helps fix most issues (*cough* skills)

Until there's another patch the best best is to try anything you can on your end to try and get gaming

Hi @AFuture-Certain I just wanna help you with your future bug report, but a freeze is when the game freeze completly if its 2 or 3 seconds is a hang, the game hang for 3 seconds. Have a great day
