Extreme Stuttering and 2 second long freezing | Forums

I bought the game 3 days ago and couldn't manage to get past first base of operations as the game is stuttering and freezing for upto 2 secs.Graphic settings also does not matter there is not a difference between Ultra and Low . In open beta i didn't have this problem so i don't know what is going on.Every other game works just fine.

Specs:

i5 8300H
8GB DDR 4 2600 MHZ RAM
1050 TI
250GB SSD (Game is installed here)


Any help will be appreciated.

That's exactly what's happening to me, i'm struggling with the game because it keeps freezing up and getting me killed.

I have

i5-8400 2.8Ghz
8GB RAM
GTX 1060 6GB

And game is installed on an SSD, there is no difference between graphical settings with regards to stuttering.

I'd suggest maybe deleting any Logitech software it seems to be causing issues with the game for some people.

I am here too see if this was fixed since private and public beta.. apparantly not.

Too bad because I wanted to get this game, but not as long as this game is still unplayable. Hoping for a fix will check the forum once in a while.

I tried deleting logitech software and played with gamepad.It didn't make a difference and i noticed weird movement glitches too.Combine that with stuttering.... What a nightmare

I feel really bad for buying for this for PC.

yeah I just bought it very glad I didn't buy gold with these errors hopefully there is a speedy fix

Hi AFuture-Certain. Thanks for that information! I can see that your CPU meets the minimum requirements, but does not quite meet the recommended. Because of that, you may want to use the lower end video presets. If you have not already done so, can you do these PC steps? If they did not help, please provide the Pastebin links like this post asks for.

Hi @Acali! Your PC does appear to meet the recommended requirements. Since you mentioned you have it installed on a SSD drive, we recommend installing Uplay and TD2 on your C: drive instead, as this tends to help with performance issues. Disabling Logitech Software has also been proven to help improve performance as well. I'd also recommend the PC steps I provided above, and would also like to see your Pastebin links. Thanks!

They are installed on my C Drive, so if I move them both onto my HDD instead that will fix things?

Got the same issue on my rig and the rig of my Brother

My System:
9900K
2080
32 Gig
Installed on 970 Pro SSD.

Brothers System:
2700X
2070
32 Gig
Installed on 960 Pro SSD.

Sadly i currently cant get my hand on a decent AMD card to test if they also have problems.

Just ran a ping test with wtfast 344ms with peak of 500ms, it should only be at 220-260ms. This may be what is causing the major stutter the severely bad connection.

im also having this issue, my game defaults to 1080p windowed on start up loads to 20% then the audio cuts out. game starts and every 2-5 min the game locks up will no loss of fps after about 60-90 sec my audio comes back and out again then repeats the whole presses over also when i alt tab out all my audio restores like it this all never happened
