Sudden FPS Drop/Stutter then Invisible Wall

While running the game will sometimes stutter and then hit an invisible wall. I am able to go around it without any issues. This issue has been going on since beta, and into early release. This issue happens relatively infrequent, and sometimes not at all for a couple hours of play time.

    Ryzen5 2600x (not overclocked)
    Gigabyte Gaming 5 x470 Mobo
    16GB Flare X G Skill 3200MHz RAM (2x8)
    Aorus RTX 2080 GPU
    EVGA 750W PSU
WD Black 500GB 3D NVME SSD
    Windows 10 64bit 17763.379

    I play at 1440P Ultra and DX12.
I found an article that says to change settings in Nvidia Control Panel to fix performance issues, but the invisible wall still happens.
    I verified game files.
I ran Furmark for ~4 hours with no issues.
I ran Prime95 for ~4 hours with no issues.
I ran memtest86 for ~2 hours with no errors.

Windows and all drivers including Nvidia are up to date.
I've cleared temp files and a clean boot.
    I uninstalled RGB Fusion.
I have Aorus Engine, but never use it.
I don't run CAM while game is running.
I do keep Discord up on my 2nd monitor, but do not use the overlay from it.
I have my Tobii disabled because it's just awful.
I don't use any of the Aorus "appcenter" stuff.

I have the exact same problem. The only fix was to switch to DX11. I will try DX12 again in future patches or driver updates.

I tried DX11 too, and it seems to happen less maybe, but it's certainly still an issue.

Actually there are a lot of people with this issue here and on Reddit. So hopefully there will be fixes soon.

Try to disable fullscreen optimization (right-click division icon, properties, compatibility) and then set your game to borderless windowed. For me that fixed a lot. I got stuttering only like 2 or 3 times in 5 hours of playing. But it could be coincidence. So try and tell here.
