That's the idea, but who knows? It's not like anyone plans for bugs to happen. Rest assured if there are any surprises that you'll be stuck with it.Originally Posted by ptorment666 Go to original post
Edit: spelling
Having the same issue as everyone else on this thread. I tried reloading, but my character has yet to revert to the original look. I’ve waited through two different patches and still nothing. I have been looking around, but I haven’t seen where it will be addressed soon. Did I miss it somewhere?
A week ago, I reinstalled the windows operating system and uplay & The Division2.
After logging in, my characters were changed. Has not changed back to my design now.
This really makes me sad.If Ubisoft can't fix it.Can we give us the opportunity to redesign the characters?

Guys,
The appearance bug was with Division2 since the very beginning.
Just yesterday they admitted that they don't know how to restore original character-design and that every player who has this issue can either:
- create a new character and start over
- keep playing with new look .
There will not be fix or possibility to re-design the character in-game anytime soon.
They stated it clearly, that they cannot give us timeline for that, which simply means it's not on they bucket list now.
I personally started new char. A little pissed off (I was 450gs t4) but I'd rather invest some time now and play character that looks like I want, rather than keep playing my original char with odd and different look knowing that fix is not coming at all.
wtf.. i dont have time for this bul****. or ubi let us change f in the game or f give us back money. this is the big joke company and someone shud do sth from sony. Bug texture problem and apernance on ps4 ??? and this is ****in the division1,5 not f 2!!!Originally Posted by Noisehammer Go to original post
I understand and wasn't aware of that until now. That being said, if I create a new character when this issue hasn't been resolved, couldn't the same thing just happen again? I will play with my unwanted character and will see if he changes appearance again in the future.Originally Posted by Noisehammer Go to original post
I will hope that Ubisoft will address this in the future and maybe come up with a decent solution.
Thank you for posting and reminding us again.
They said they found the error and fixed it, which means the altering-appearance bug should not occur again, but they cannot bring back the old original look of all characters that have been altered.Originally Posted by Sherbz29 Go to original post
That's why I made a new char.
I'd rather do 2 steps back instead of playing char that looks nothing like I want to.
