Belive me man, my ugly character was 500 gs and now my new one is 500 gs too but with the face that i created(evading hiring the barber), obviously it took more like 2 weeks to achieve it and, believe me it was a teddious task to complete. It also helped putting all the good gear from the ugly one in the stash so the new character could use the high lvl gear when you hit lvl 30 making easier to get high gear score(gs).

I just recommend to create a new character to keep enjoying the game.After all, you pay for the game and I am so confident that they are not going to give you a refund so, we are stuck with this broken game.

I recommend to the devs to create a short time option to transfer progress between characters, since they are making no effort trying to fix this issue as it was supposed to be.

Believe me I can do it , But I will tire a lot

I just wish they would give us a choice to change the situation and return it as it was

Okay, so basically you can create a new character (from the beginning) but do not hire the barber during the gameplay,so far my new character haven't changed.

Doesn't that prevent you from upgrading your Base of Operations? I mean can you still upgrade your Crafting Station to WT5 if you don't hire the barber?

My character looked awesome when I first made it, rugged, craggy, mature and full of character, I was like the embodiment of Machete cleaning up the streets of DC, now I look like some pudgy pre-pubescent boy-band member with a fake mustache and cheap scar temporary tattoo from a box of cornflakes. Give me back the possibility to play as Danny Trejo damnit!

I'm forced to play with mask on for like a month now. I'm not gonna create new character wasting like 20hours and losing all my blueprints

This is Ubisoft Customer Support.

As was announced in the patch notes on April 5, 2019 for the Tidal Basin update,
The issue was fixed to prevent it from happening to players,but the fix does not work for players who were already affected by the issue.
So to remedy this, the team plans to implement a feature in-game to re-customize the faces of player's characters, but they do not have a timeline for this implementation and wish for player's to understand that it will not be anytime soon.

In the meanwhile, we hope for you to continue playing the game
while waiting for the fix.

Good and really bad info. I would make new character if blueprints were account wide. I'm wearing a mask for over a month now and looks like i will be for god knows how long.

at the beginning relog fixed it but after a while i have a wrong appearance permanently
