Yeah mine's been like that all day I was a Caucasian male and now I'm an African American, don't know how to fix it I've tried restarting everything from my PlayStation to the game, nothing's worked so far. it's super irritating because I took time to make my character just the way I wanted and now it's totally randomized and stuck like that and it makes me not want to play unfortunately.Originally Posted by Neumeier Go to original post
Just adding that I'm also experiencing this. My face is locked at type 0. It used to happen once in a while and go away when I logged out, but now it's stuck and even shows up as Type 0 under the character selection screen. Really wondering if Ubisoft thinks we can get the original appearance back without having to make a new character.
Experiencing the same issue on the PS4 Pro as well.
Just noticed that my character's appearance is completely different from what she was when I made her. It's seriously disheartening especially considering I had spent a good amount of time on character creation, Relogging, relaunching did nothing for me, and it seems that my character is permanently stuck with some quite hideous features.
Please tell me this is fixable.
The State of the Game that just came out says that you can just fix it most of the time by relogging so I'm not sure they're taking it seriously... I certainly can't fix it by relogging.

Sounds like State of the Game isn't considering the Barber bug locking it to the point it changes on the character selection screen.Originally Posted by Hoppes9 Go to original post
It would be nice to hear it addressed a little more directly. Character personalization is a pretty big deal in a game like this.
I've heard it happening to people after:Originally Posted by Lutonio Go to original post
Unlocking the barber
Reinstalling the game
Playing the game from a different PC
Patching
Seemingly randomly when logging in
I haven't heard of anyone that had it fixed just by logging in and out. There may be more than one bug going on here but I'm more interested in how they plan on fixing the characters it screwed up if/when they manage to fix the bug. What are the odds that they have each character's original customization settings if they are over-written? Certainly less an less as time goes by. If they can't restore our settings then there doesn't seem to be a functionality for letting us recreate our appearances on an existing character.
This is very disconcerting to me.
