Hi all, so about 20 minutes ago I preordered The Division 2. Everything went completely fine up until I got to the payment. I put my details in and went to purchase and suddenly I was confronted with an error screen saying "This page does not exist". I was in a vocal chat with a friend at the time and I let him know what happened. I was just about to try again before he warned me not to saying "Don't try and purchase it again before checking your bank account, because I bought a steel pack for For Honor one time and it did the same thing and I went to buy it again and it charged me twice". So he was literally the only reason I wasn't charged twice for this game. Please Ubi fix your store or I will not be buying from it anymore. As for my situation, I am going to try calling the customer service centre this afternoon (because for one weird reason or another the offices in Australia don't open till 4:30pm and that's right before I start work so I really only have an hour to resolve it) Before anyone says "check your order history there should be something there on it" I have already done so and there is only one game in my order history and it isn't The Division 2. So if anyone could help or if anyone has had this problem before and knows how to fix it, I would certainly appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.
Had the same thing happen to me today, tried to paypal it but it kept saying error, finally just decided to put my bank details in, BAM worked, go to start downloading the game. What? its not there? check bank acc, yep money is certainly gone. Check Order History nothing there? what do you mean nothing there, i just damn paid for it. Phoneline doesnt open till 630pm either i found out after trying to call.
The same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Ubisoft said my bank never released the money to them, however the money was taken from my bank account. When I spoke to my bank, they said that the money is in a holding account waiting for Ubisoft to communicate with them (some kind of bank to bank communication). If my bank did not receive any communication from Ubisoft within 10 business days (14 days including weekends), then the money would be returned to my account.
My bank did not receive any communication from Ubisoft, so the money was returned to my bank account. I tried to purchase it again from the Ubisoft store after the money was returned, and it failed again; however this time, the money was not taken from my account.
I ended up buying the gold edition from Greenman Gaming; which is unfortunate because I could have gotten the Ultimate edition for Two Euros less than I paid for the Gold if Ubisoft's store had worked. It's doubly unfortunate now because you can't buy this game from Grennman Gaming anymore.
Ubisoft really does need to fix their store. I will not be purchasing any games on it from now on (actually, I can't because the process only fails).
