I understand. But I believe that there is a problem with the game right now as this email, referring to a Pentium G4400, states that it is above Min. Spec. Which is true.

RAM is what is being pointed out as the reason, while 8GB are installed. Other people on R6Fix are reporting the same problem on CPUs above Min Spec as well.

I believe it happens to all people on any dual core no matter if they are above Spec or not.

To clarify, a physical core is, well, a core that is physically present in the CPU while a logical core is what is seen by the operating system and is equal to how many threads can be run by a CPU.

That's where SMT(Simultaneous Multi Threading, also known as Hyper Threading on Intel CPUs) comes into play.

A 4 cores CPU without SMT will be seen as 4 logical cores by the OS. A 2 cores CPU with SMT will "only" have 2 physical cores but will also be seen as having 4 logical cores thanks to SMT.

Been running i7 quad core since 2009. It's what gaming needs in this decade.

Even a decade ago, dual core was problematic that is why most gamers back then skipped over them and went straight to quad core. More stable and reliable.

Dual core in this decade is just someone being cheap. Well you saved your money going dual core so now it's time to spend your money with an upgrade with that money you saved. Better upgrade from 8 gigs of ram to. That is Bar minimum with the game being made today.
