    Control point: Allies not available?

Just started playing The Division 2 today. I started doing random activities and discovered a control point in the northern section of the “White House” district. It is called “The Vault.”

Unfortunately, after I cleared out all enemies, the game prompted me to “use a signal” (can’t remember word for word how they phrase it), which I am unable to do.

The game will not allow me to signal in reinforcements with the flare function; it says “allies not available.” So now I am stuck with a half-finished control point on my map. Every time I fast travel back it still gives me the objective to “signal.” Which I cannot do!

Has anyone else run into this issue? I have logged out and back in multiple times to no avail, and I will be very upset if I cannot progress this control point!

I was thinking maybe there’s something else, like some other objective that needs to be satisfied within the White House district before I can call for allies? Not sure. Just wanted to put it out there and ask if others have had this issue and perhaps know of a quick fix. Thanks.

IIRC from the open beta experience, you're gonna need to unlock The Theater and maybe even do some missions, possibly side missions. Its been a few weeks so I'm not sure.

Okay. Thank you very much for the response!

So is this something that will correct itself and I will be able to complete it? Because as a completionist, I’m going to go crazy with one unfinished control point on my map.

I had this happened and it turned out it was because I group for a mission and when the group disbanded it left me in the leaders instance. I figured it out when i went to the whitehouse and it said (visiting *playersname* whitehouse) . I relogged and went back and had no problems.

I don't understand these control points and running low on supplies.

I found some water to give to Resources Office but the other control point is running low too and can't find any more water or tools

It's weird how they can't self sustain. I'm not their errand boy. I got them the control points and they want me to keep all control points controlled by allies on the whole map stocked too 😂💩

That’s interesting, because I was playing solo when this happened to me. I was never in a group before, during, or after the control point
