The point of the modding system is so that you can translate skill power to different types of modifications: more damage, more duration, more charges, etc. You're still "spending" skill power to increase skill potency, but because you're now trying to hit thresholds to unlock mod effects, the experience feels stepped rather than smooth -- skill power increases no longer immediately (incrementally) improve effects.

Assuming that Massive's plan is to lower skill power requirements for unlocking mods -- the magnitudes of which the developers have already acknowledged to be unintended -- then we may very well see that stepped increase graded out to feel more gradual.

    Printer filament

Hi, you get these from salvaging mods.

You can get filament from deconstructing items in your inventory. I deconstruct stuff thats lower level and it seems to yield enough filament

The MODs that go into the skills are not balanced with the gear that we have available.

    1) As the level/rarity of the mod for skills increases, the skill power requirement increases at a rate well beyond what a normal player would be able to obtain with typical gear.
    2) Even using gear that is ALL skill power based, the mods are still unusable because of how high the mod power requirement is.
    3) The only current solution is to use LOWER level, lower rarity skill mods.... HOWEVER, it is IMPOSSIBLE to obtain low level/rarity mods once you level past them.
    4) The crafting bench once upgraded will only craft high end/ high level skill mods, you can no longer craft or loot low level or lower tier skill mods to use.

WORKAROUND: Make new character, keep the workbench LOWEST level (do not upgrade it ever!) craft SKILL MODS with your lower level character and then transfer those mods thru the STASH and loot and use/slot them with your higher level character.

This work around sucks. The crafting bench should allow for SELECTION of desired crafting level/tier of rarity when using it, instead of simply being forced into making only highest tier/level/rarity of items.
