Forced into non-functional HDR mode on start

    Hi,

Whenever I launch the game, it forces my monitor into "HDR" mode (HDR appears on the TV UI) and changes it from Game Mode to a setting called "Intense". It also outputs a weird colour palette and slows everything down to a crawl with sudden crazy amounts of input lag.

If I alt+tab out of the game, the entire windows environment is the same, with a lot of input lag and barely legible displays as the colour makes it hard to read.

Alt+F4ing the game reverts after a while. I am unable to access any graphics options in the game as I cannot navigate the starting menus or character generation because the colours obscure it.

The character creator is a lot easier to see than generic menus. I do not want to create my character (and, I assume, go through unskippable tutorials and stuff) with this however as the game warns me that my character is final and cannot be changed.

I am using a single monitor, native 4K resolution. Updated to the latest Nvidia drivers as well.

I have uploaded DxDiag and MSInfo to support ticket 08275806.

Here is a photo of what the character creator looks like. https://i.imgur.com/jQaqhBJ.jpg

Temporary workaround is alt-tabbing just as the game launches to cause it to appear in windowed mode instead, then changing to Fullscreen fixes the problem.

Problem does reappear on subsequent launches however.

Turn off HDR. It's set to auto by default. Go into your my documents\my games\the division 2 folder.. I think it's state.cfg.. change the HDR from auto to Off.
