Performance Issues on a normal PS4

So i played this game on the normal ps4 for now 4-5 hours i guess, but i have major performance issues, at missions and at the open world. Like time warps, lags all of this stuff. Thats strange because at the closed and open beta it works nice, no lags no time warps nothing.

Same here (USA). Both betas ran great but this morning played for around 4 hours and experienced a lot of lag....like, hard to finish a mission type of lag.

Same for me when i tried to play the game at early access launch last night. Severe lag, framerate issues and stuttering in openworld, inside whitehouse etc. Could not continue playing towards the theatre, but i will try again after i get back from work today.

I experienced the same type of issues in the private beta in certain areas but none of this in the open beta, so back to square one i guess.

    I'm on a standard PS4.

Would very much appreciate an offical respons to this!

I am also having major stuttering (or jittering) issues while playing, more so when inside buildings. Moving the camera around is not smooth at all, very frequently jumps around and pauses for 1-2 seconds, looks like PS4 is struggling for some unknown reason. I am using PS4 Pro. The beta did not have this problem. Please fix ASAP, cannot play game and getting very frustrated.

A few posts on reddit suggests trying booting PS4 to safemode and rebuild database might sort out some problems. Might take a while though so i don't know.. As i said, i did not experience these problems in the Open Beta.

So if anyone wants to try it:

    1. Turn off the PS4.
    2. Once the PS4 is off, press and hold the power button until the PS4 beeps twice (this may take up to 10 seconds).
    3. Connect the DualShock controller with a USB cable.
    4. Once connected, press the PS button on the controller. You should now see the Safe Mode options on the PS4.
    5. Select option "5. Rebuild Database" and press X.
    6. "The database will be rebuilt, it might take a few hours to rebuild the database" will show on the screen, press "OK".
    7. Allow the database to rebuild. Afterwards the console will return to the sign-in screen.

    Hello again,

Sorry for all the posts, got some more suggestions from reddit, can't guarantee it works though.

If it's the first time you started the game and experience these kinds of problems, try a PS4 reboot and restart the game. Some people are saying that they had issues the first time running the game, rebooted and then it works as it should.

    Hi guys,

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. Can you please try rebuilding your PS4 database as mentioned by hazel84 in the post above. If the issue persists can you try the troubleshooting steps in the link below:

    https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/faqs/0...-on-PS4-TCTD2/

If you still continue to experience issues after this can you please update this thread.

    Thanks
