    You mean Ubisoft?

If your lies were the truth you wouldnt have thousands of people making the same mistake which was a very easy mistake to make.

Nowhere was it made plainly evident, except on reddit, that buying through Epic would lead to all this hassle.

Nowhere except on reddit do people find out that getting it through Epic isnt even the official means to buy.

The point is, you shouldnt have to go around and look this stuff up before buying.

Things should be clarified in bold long before you click the purchase button, especially since you apparently bought on the official site.

There is no way to argue around the fact that I and many others, bought an edition thats supposed to give you the same early access across the board.

How one person with the same edition and in the same region gets to play while another doesnt, is a ridiculous outcome.
What needs to stop, is what you are doing.

Ubisoft games have always been available from Uplay. It was very clear from the beginning that Epic was a REseller, not the exclusive store, or default store, and not even THE reseller, but A reseller, which told you your game will be available to play the 12th and up to three days in advance of regular launch. I don''t know where you are, and perhaps something was lost in translation, but "up to" doesn't mean "exactly".

... and when the 13th of March arrives wherever you are, and you still don't have your game, then complain to Epic.

End of the day, despite what you apologists are saying, clearly the way this has played out has been a monumental screw up for all those people expecting to play the moment the region unlocks went live, just like promised by official Ubisoft advertising.

Finding out that its not the case, AFTER having bought the Epic store variant, because of a lack of forthright documentation on the purchase page of the official site ITSELF, is a giant letdown.

And you all can dispute this till the cows come home, but it remains a stain on Ubisoft's reputation.

Perfect example of screwing with the end user just to make more money.

Sorry to hear about Epic store royally stuffing up on the early access times for those that supported the store. I would be sending a message to them asking how they got it so wrong. I bought it off Ubi's website and all is good so the problem is Epic's. I would definitely be asking for some sort of compensation for each day missed on the early access from Epic. In this day and age it is totally unacceptable for this to happen... Totally!

Any reasonable shop doesnt present a reseller as the default means to buy the product, much less offer a product that is lacking the same benefit when bought through the reseller as the default means of buying the product on the actual shop site.

Again, no. Why do you keep repeating this? That's simply not the case.

Indeed, I never once thought of buying it off anyone but Ubisoft, I had an issue with uPlay and it was resolved very quickly, then I went to Ubi's website and reordered. Please stop trying to lay the blame on Ubisoft as you did not buy it directly from them and there lies the problem.
