He probably doesn't actually play games, just *****es about them is his thing. Who said level 30 was the end anyways? The game basically restarts at level 30 and increases in difficulty. Yeah, the OP is probably gonna say that the city being retaken, having to fight all the factions, etc.. isn't part of the story, but it is, so pretty sure that YouTube guy still has a very long ways to go.

This is a different kind of game, a whole new concept, level 30 isn't the end, it was the intro to the hours and hours of play ahead. So if "winning" to anyone just means hitting level 30, you are stuck in a old mindset, TD2 has created a whole new concept here.

Just dont buy the game, if you dont like it or you think the length of game dont worth the money, dont buy it! Some people will pass in 12h some in 40h, it is individual thing! But dont be a child, and more so if you didnt even played the game! This is stupid!

They say 40 hours of "content" or 40 hours "to level"? Is the maps not content? How many hours to walk every street, ally, building and subway in full map?

Did he liberate every safe house? Do every control point? Side missions? Did he find all the collectibles.....echoes....phones? Or did he fly through the main story and run to the dz?

It's not a lie. You're arguing over a subjective issue. Just because one person powers through to reach endgame as fast as they can doesn't mean everyone will. The devs openly stated that the hour estimates for the story mission are an average. From your posts, I don't think you understand the concept of "averages". For every person like him out there, there will be people like me, who take weeks to get to max level, because we enjoy playing the game, not power-leveling.

If this is something you want to get all fired up over, knock yourself out. But be aware it makes you look silly.

Actually, you quoting them saying 40 hours of history is a total lie..

"In addition to the 40 hours of main gameplay, Gerighty said the game serves up additional micro stories with characters players will actually care about from the civilian outposts."

I would consider "main gameplay" as the operative words here, which in no way translates into main missions only, it means the game. You know, things a normal gamer would do while in a game, not someone whose goal is to pretty much skip the "main gameplay" and simply focus on hitting level 30 as quickly as possible. Anyhow, the game rocks and I am going to spend way more time than that poking through the "main gameplay".

Can we close this thread now? Come on man...you didn't even bought or played the game yet.
You just saw a video of a Youtuber who rushed to the endgame so he can make more content for his channel very fast.
I am at level 5 after 4 hours of gameplay and only finished 1 main mission and no side missions at all.
Just play the game and have YOUR personal opinion instead of just watching videos.
Also, like most people said the content of the game is not getting to level 30. Is finishing and upgrading everything even after level 30.

It's not like this game is going to go anywhere. Why would people want to rush it instead of taking their time and soaking in the details.

    level 30 =/= story complete

you can get to level 30 just from looting food and turning it to a single control point, level has no effect on the story other than main missions having specific level recommendations to play
