Yes that was what they saw on my msconfig.. Sadly now the game is crashing again randomly... i think i was to optimistic, as sometimes i play for 2 hours and sometimes its 20 minutes... will keep trying things..Question, this solution was given to you after they analyzed your DxDiag and MsConfig files that you uploaded to the ticket? Because in my case, this was not a suggested solution.
I am also having crashing, even made a post about it, and pretty much got ignored. I already sent my DX Diag info with my tickets that I've gotten no response from yet, but yeah here was my thread post. Just adding to this fire, that will hopefully burn a fix out of UBisoft.
I have been plagued with crashes in this game since it's release. 0 Issues in the beta. I have tried every fix out there. un-installing the game, Re-installing it, changing config files, disabling dx12, changing launcher settings, changing graphics settings, changing things in my NVidia control panel, using the nvidia experience, not using it. Playing the game without anything else open.
Disabling, enabling over clocks, different Graphics cards, and CPUs.
I am still getting crashes. So either I get some help with this or my friend and I will refund the game, because we only purchased this game to play with each other.
I have no crashes in any other games.
System Specs
GTX 1080 TI SC2
Core I7 6700k (both stock clocks and overclocked to 5ghz)
32GB DDR4 3600 mhz
1tb SSD (tried installing game on both of the drives, with no luck)
6TB 7200 RPM HD.
Monitor
HP ZR30W (2560x1600, 60 hz)
Also have tried unplugging all USB devices including keyboard and mouse, using only serial variants.
I've sent a "Crash Report" every time it has crashed.
When it crashes it goes to my desktop, and says the game has crashed, no errors or anything like that. Only gives me the option of sending a crash report. Nothing in the Windows event manager to the indication of the crash.
Every now and then the game will cause my system to blue screen.
Only game I have issues with this in.
I own Escape From Tarkov, ARK survival evolved, Day Z, PUB G, APEX Legends, The Crysis Games, Wolcen, Fallout 76, and many more games. So it's not like this is my only "demanding game"
Yeah I just submitted a case as well for this exact reason. I have tried ALL the suggested workarounds that people have been posting and none have worked. I even did a complete wipe of my system earlier today and re-installed Windows and my Radeon drivers, and still having the same issue. Would be great if someone would at least tell us that they have some kind of idea as to what's going on with this issue.
Never had any crashing issues til today, I can still play my main character just fine, but I tried making a second character to level up and after character creation it crashes every time the tutorial mission starts. Tried turning off overlays, DX12 on/off, deleting config files.. Nothing seems to help and the issue is only on the second character, my main is just fine...
Crash here too but they will not refund, not that I've tried but I can pretty much guarantee that's not a possibility. Possibly if you've only played an hour or so it might be possible.Originally Posted by Lady_Karleya Go to original post
I don't think you can get a refund. They purposely made it digital download so it's almost impossible to get a refund. Only the physical copy allows you a refund. They purposely did not make it available through steam or amazon. I bought the first division in physical copy form from amazon so that if I didn't care for the game, I had 30 days to return it for a full refund.Originally Posted by VenzR Go to original post
I did not read the whole thread, so this may have been posted before, but I got rid of the random crashes by doing the following:
- Disable DX12
- Disable Discord voice overlay for TD2 (and any other non-Uplay overlay)
- Keep the Intelligent Standby List Cleaner tool running in the background
Works for me since a few days. I hope this helps some of you.
