got the same issue was happening in the beta as well game freezes and locks my pc out so have to do a hard reset.
tried the latest nvidia driver and the last one problem still persists ive had to stop playing its driving me nuts!!!

Game keeps crashing after 1-2 min of play.
Same problem on different Nvidia drivers and ingame settings.

Game shuts down and asked to send bug report but it won't go through.

Changed driver to 419.17 and still crashes. No idea. Need a response from Ubi soon.

When I am forced to restart I get a message - Game Security Violation Detected #0000001. What's that about? I have no software running and nothing plugged in except mouse and keyboard.

Same. Tried multiple Nvidia drivers, Direct X 12 on and off. My game just closes by itself and goes right to desktop. No option to even turn in a crash report.

Joining the list. I got through the initial mission to revive the agent, two cutscenes later straight to desktop - three in a row. Had no issues in beta with this driver for nVidia.

Just coming back to say I've played about an hour without crashing since make sure DX12 was off. Apparently after turning it off and restarting, the game sometimes randomly turns it back on. So if you try to turn it off and restart, make sure it is actually off when you come back on. Not 100% sure if the problem is actually gone, but an hour is as long as I've played so far without a crash.
