Personally i would be much happier that the dev team acknowledges that there is a problem and that it will be optimized in the near future. When the textures are loaded then the game is really beautiful and on par with the current game release like anthem, battlefield 5, spiderman, red dead redemption. But in the current state on a playstation 4 pro the grapics are even worse then most of the playstation 3 games. The low textures are shown way to long. I timed it today:
- left a random settlement (not the theatre), there was a gate around that building, it took 48 seconds to load the high resolution texture. Then i walked through the gate, there was a police van (extremely blurred), it took 32 seconds to load that small texture to make it high resolution. And that;s not all, just try to run through buildings and stop and see what happens, almost a minute long of all kind of texture loading for the area that you are in. And that in 2019 with all those great looking games out there on the playstation 4 pro.
I've tried all the suggestions, 200 gigabyte free space available, rebuilding the database, i have a 300 mbit wired internet connection with 22 ms ping. Nothing of those issues helped. All the other games are looking fantastic without these kind of issues on the same playstation 4 pro.
So please aknowledge that this is going to be optimized instead of monitoring it. It should be so easy for your dev development to reproduce if you see the number of mentioned issues (here, reddit and other forums) about the slow texture loading on the ps4 pro. The game itself it's fantastic and the dev team did a great job on that, but the technical state it is in now is simply not good enough to justify playing it.
