I am wondering are you going to let people anchor and go for a swim to look for treasures explore islands? This was great in Black Flag which is one of my all time favorite games. Always enjoyed going ashore and a swim (captain is going for a swim). Or is this going to be more like world of warships multiplayer and just shoot at each other and always on the boat which gets boring after awhile. Pirates need shore leave also!!!! I am hoping you are considering putting this in the game as having the many excellent elements that were in Black Flag is just a win win!!!

While we haven't heard any information about the game in about eight months, what we did hear eight months ago was that you will primarily be playing from the wheel of the ship. You will be able to walk around the "Hideout" island, but per the devs at that time, the Hideout is the only island you will be able to full explore on foot. Whether or not that means there is limited "personal-level" movement and interaction in other capacities or not, we don't know at this time.

I totally agree with you @BMWTHEMAN.
One of the most enjoyable things besides steeling treasure is hiding it on an island or even discovering new treasure on islands. This would be something making me preorder, even though I never did that before (because I want to know what I buy). As Flawbringer already mentioned, it is currently not looking like it, but maybe it's not to late yet, to tell the DEVS what we would LOVE to see!
