    First Impressions TD2

Well Done Massive & Ubisoft, A Masterpiece, Superb!

Much more polished than the beta that I played at the start of March as I was expecting. Anyone who is on the fence about TD2, Jump down & Jump in, you won't regret it.

Character customization is great and you will be able to get your agent looking unique, well fed but unique, lot's of options!

I'm running a res of 2560x1440 with a 1070 on an i7-3820 with everything on max and not a single issue to be had, well that's not exactly true, I have a massive issue with becoming sidetracked in the game

So much to take in it's overwhelming, enemies are better than in the beta imo.

If you are one of those players that tried the beta and didn't like it cause you were expecting more of The Division 1 type of game, I can understand, I too felt like I was thrown off the deep end but I learned to swim real fast.

One of the best things I have changed in the options is the reticle (crosshair) opacity down to about 20% as the enemies in TD2 are a lot harder to spot. It's made the game instantly feel more like Div 1 to me, minus the 60 shots it takes to down an npc in TD1

I can tell this is going to eat up A LOT of my spare time. Any bonus stuff that you have been gifted or earned in the beta or from your purchase will automatically pop up as soon as you have finished creating your character and you will be able to collect it from the base of operations.

Yet to play with others online so cannot speak about performance there yet

Final thoughts before jumping back in, Polished and Fantastic

    Thank you.

I'm pretty sceptical - after the beta -, but friends, that also played The Division with me (a lot) allready bought it too. So, let's hear what they say.

The problem with this game is the fact that as grind game you can't really grind for good stuff on low level, you just won't find any epic item before lvl 20, it's ******ed, a grind game with drops based on your level and not on luck

Found a couple of graphics glitches, all really funny tho!

I never swapped out my gear so much in TD1 as I have in TD2, it's a real treat to grind and explore, running into a camp and trying the blast 'em all approach is pure suicide, the stealthy approach is great, also calling for npc's to back you up and fight (and fight really well) is awesome. For those that are more interested in the single player aspect of gaming, you will love TD2!

Collecting all the resources really pays off and feels rewarding, I'm only at lvl 4 with 3 hours of gaming and every corner has a special treat in store. The shotguns are wicked, the flame turrets are psycho, and the flames and smoke are graphically amazing. Love how you can sneak up on a few enemies and toss a grenade at their feet from some distance, they don't notice it and then BOOM! three enemies going skyward, well that's them taken care of... next

The music is stunning in the way it builds up, usually I turn music off in games, not in TD2, really well done.

The map is big, really really big!!!

The Dev's nailed it with The Division 2, I can see game of the year all over it. Hell I'm even going to spend some $$$ on buying the premium extras cause I'll be playing this for years

It's a live service looter shooter and as such will not get GOTY. But I agree this is the state in which games should release unlike Anthem and Fallout 76 trash. Am impressed with how well the game runs and how little bugs there are.

It reassuring that first impressions are high won’t get until tomorrow and prob won’t get a good bash until the weekend but can’t wait. Reading up on year one, if they deliver what they say they are going to with the continued support they say they are going to give, then it will surely be epic
    Can’t wait.
