PS4
Greetings. Ever since I purchased the DLC to start Episode 1 back in December I’ve been having an audio bug with Poison. The splash sound of poison sticks to my character and all I hear is “shhhhhhhhhhhh”. I just returned to the game to play through episodes 2-3 and I’m still getting this audio bug. I’m wearing the Snake set, I’m using Fanged Bow and Arachne’s Stingers. I tried equipping different gear but the sound doesn’t go away.
Go into the menu the sound stops but when I exit the menu it’s back. Going underwater, the sound stops. Getting out of the water the sound comes back immediately. Fast traveling the sound is still there as soon as you spawn.
If I log off and back on the bug goes away until it happens again. Which is often. I’m finding myself having to restart the game more than actually play it. Additionally, I’ve tried uninstalling the game, dlc’s and some PS4 safe mode options and still have this issue.
Unrelated to the audio bug but related to poison. The icon that appears above an enemies head. Sometimes When attacking an enemy but not killing them the icon sticks to them. For instance, I shot an enemy with a few arrows and left the area. In fact, I went across the region. Yet, the icon stayed on the enemy for the entire play session. The only way to remove it is to go back and kill the enemy or reset the game.
I don’t play with fire abilities too much so I’m unsure if this happens with the icon and sounds but it does with poison. Thanks, I hope someone can help fix the bug.
I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing these issues.
