Awesome news, you guys have lots to work on and obviously it can't all be done at the same time but to have a patch just weeks after release is promising that we'll see more patches soon.
I found another problem last night whilst playing with the editor. In the environment settings under visibility settings if you select the "Disable background scenery" then the mountains in the background will disappear like they should but when you de-select it they don't come back. Everything else on the list reappears when you deselect the disable option.
This is written in a way that makes it sound like the only thing being fixed for the first patch is the stadium glitch, which is extremely disappointing. Performance should be a number one priority, because it affects all platforms’ ability to play certain tracks.
I’ve surprisingly been one of the more positive people about this game, but i also recognize the urgency of fixing the plethora of bugs this game has in a timely manner. ONE key fix in the first patch is just not sufficient, and the community will continue to bleed as people get tired of having to wait for a polished product.
Thanks for an update. I to am a little concerned with the way this way laid out, and am hoping the first patch is expansive enough to cover multiple issues. At least we know these things are be worked on, but critical issues should absolutely come first. Keeping my fingers crossed that this game series i love redeems itself. Also would really love to know when the first season starts and when the first expansion will be playable.
Judging by the wording of the post, this means ONE major bug will be fixed in a month after release, with no release window for a second patch.
This game will shrink to the 3-4 thousand or so hardcore players faster than you can say Jack Robinson. I am doing my best to like it but there's so many bugs and framerates and performance are such a joke, I don't think I can be bothered anymore.
