Multiple PCs behind the same connection can't play together.

We have two PCs on the same network. When we play solo everything works fine.
We can invite the other to group but that's when the problems starts.
    1. We may see each other's characters when they first load in but they are not really there. We can both move around but do not see each other moving.
    2. One of us will still see the game like normal, NPCs, enemies, loot boxes/bags, etc. The other person will see none of those. Just an empty city.
    3. If one person completely logs out of the game, it will disconnect the other person.

We played during beta and did not experience this problem.

    Anyone else having this issue?

Wife and I are having this exact same issue.

Like you, we're both connected to the same network and did not experience anything like this in closed and open beta.

    Hi guys,

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.

Can you please confirm which player see's an empty city? Is it the host or the invited player? Are you also able to provide a video of this?

    Fix if you have cisco/netgear

I had this problem in the past for multiple games and this ended up being a router configuration issue.

This is for cisco/netgear, but any company running that firmware would use this.

    Navigate Advanced > WAN setup

Toggle Nat Filtering from secure to open.

Its some type of firewall that gets grumpy over multiple destination nat's is the best i can tell.

The thing about it is that the both the closed and open beta worked fine with no problems then the full release came out and the problems began

I've been playing games with people in the same house for like 15 years.... for reasons i dont understand, like 50% of the games would not let us play together.

I did alot of googling one day a few years ago and found that solution. Havent had a problem since.

I would assume the beta's were different "games" probably different server configuration or security software than live? different firewall rules at UBI??? I dont know im really guessing here... all i can say is that fix saved me and my friends 1000 times over and it might work for some people browsing this thread.

That fix does work and I have used it in the past but I shouldn't have to compromise my network security to play a game.
