OK so I will admit I am not the best person at this game, but by far I am not the worst either. As of today (3/10/2018): I am 1305 on the global leader-boards. Not bragging: just saying I know my way around this game.

That being said, Although I can beat the track VERY easily inside the platinum time: example= Trials Trophy X-Cross: Hard: you need a 00:55.300 for a platinum. i CONSISTENTLY CAN BEAT IT AT 52.000-52.999. but the ghosts I am racing are crushing me and I end up in 7th place??????? WTF, this needs to be fixed!! For now I am stuck at a 1:07.351 (gold) that I got just to unlock the boards to get the extreme boards. I always beat boards just to do it and come back later to get better times.

Seriously this is the 4th major release this franchise has had in the trials series. I would think you guys would have had this kind of crap ironed out by now. I don't understand why it is so hard to not put me against the fastest in the world unless I am the 2nd in the world, which I am not. Furthermore, barring my progression unless I can somehow magically beat these ghosts.

The broken times are best shown when looking at Grave of Giants Plat time. How is one of the easiest boards only have 859 Platinum in the world??? Meanwhile EVERY hard and Extreme track have more than 2X that amount. Broken... smh.

Just a quick fix to your problem, until it is patched;
You can disconnect your internet before going into the stadium track you're having issues with. That will set you up against the "normal" ghosts. Reconnect your internet afterwards.

Another option is to temporarily disable cross platform leader boards in the options menu and see if the ghosts change.

This worked for me on one stadium track, but then didn't on another one I tried.

Might be worth a try though.

It does update youre times on the leaderboards.
Pause the race and reconnect internet before the race is over

If you play just enough to get a Gold or the win that may be only one or two tries with the correct ghosts, which means there's still plenty of headroom to improve after a patch.

It does upload your times, this is how me and everybody else has been doing it to avoid racing the top times lol Disconnect internet - enter track - Reconnect internet - play vs default ghosts.
