Can't see the weapons I own to compare when crafting

I have a baseball bat, pistol, sniper rifle and a machine gun. When I go to craft weapons I can only see the pistol as "owned".

I can't compare other rifles/smg etc to see if they are better than I have.

Secondly, I owned a saw launcher gun but swapped it for the machine gun. In previous Far Cry's you still "owned" a weapon and could choose to equip it at a shop. No way of doing that here it seems, once swapped it is gone. Is that right or am I missing something?

    Hi there,

Once you have crafted a weapon, it should remain "owned" and available from the workbench for you to reassign to your weapon wheel as you wish.

Could it be that you are looking at higher or lower-tier versions of the weapons you own?
For example, if you have crafted the Rank II Saw Launcher, you do not automatically have access to the Rank I Launcher; that would need to be crafted separately.

Hmm, maybe it is that the weapons I have I picked up from dead guys rather than crafted? But then I I picked up the pistol and that shows as owned, along with the baseball bat.

Certain versions of the game give you specific weapons by default when you start, and I think even a base weapon or two like level 1 pistol and baseball bat may be included in all versions of the game. As mentioned though weapons picked up off corpses can only be carried not owned, so will not be part of your permanent inventory.
