It’s not really a loose screw when a bomb is strapped to your front wheel. It’s also really annoying not being able to quick restart given the bike explodes as soon as you’ve made a mistake forcing one to endure the count down timer every time you restart.
The original loose screw skill game is far superior. At least with the screw bar (whatever you want to call it), one could judge when they were doing worse and quick restart as required.
Out of all the skillgames, Loose Screw certainly had the most potential to reel me in and keep playing indefinitely. Good concept. Most other skillgames I abandoned immediately after earning Gold because I didn't enjoy them.
The only thing stopping me from putting more time into Loose Screw is the abrupt end to the track when the bike explodes.
Waiting out that three second countdown between every attempt is just one of many aspects of Trials Rising that feel unnecessary and tedious.
I have no idea why the level designer(s) didn't add a one second delay between the bike exploding and the game ending, giving enough time to press the reset to last checkpoint button instead. Seems like the bike's front wheel isn't the only thing with a screw loose.

And I also agree with Dapp3r.
The instant the bike blows up and then forces me to continuously wait to restart each time is where I'm quitting less than 1 minute into it.
I loved Evo's loose screw skill game. The Trials Rising skill game "Loose Screw" is not loose screw in any way shape or form. It should be titled something else like "Bomb Wheel Explosion Boom Quit Back To The Menu Sorry Goodbye" with a big middle finger emoji that you're forced to stare at as you're in the loading screen after quitting.
This is the only skill game that I haven't got a platinum medal for, reason being that I simply can't play it long enough to get one. The original loose screw game was awesome but I have to say this one is my least favourite of risings skill games. The name needs to be changed as it really isn't loose screw and a 3,2,1 countdown timer or something needs to be added before the bomb explodes to make it less tedious.
It could do with starting off a lot easier and gradually getting harder. It seems to start off as extreme or harder so it's very hard to progress that far whereas in the original loose screw you had a life meter so you could at least practise a bit before you die, in this one you are thrown straight in the deep end on your last bit of life it seems so any practicing is non existent.
