You guys have no idea how probabilities work do you. 35% doesn't mean you should get one every 3 lockers it means every locker has an individual chance of 35%, that's it. There are plenty of people who get the boosts, and it's still FREE LOOT, there is nothing to complain about except your own bad luck. There is no need to compensate anyone for their own crummy luck, maybe all the needless complaining is bad karma.

Also, who cares if the lockers are predetermined, the end result is still a random outcome of stuff you get, so what does it matter if they're all predetermined. Predetermination doesn't lessen your chances of getting locker rewards, it just means that the locker-opening setup doesn't actually matter and you're essentially opening a pack of rewards after every win, with additional cards being added to the metaphorical pack every time you use Cartman Cash to open another locker. There is no significantly changes in the probability of receiving rewards due to the rewards in the lockers being predetermined in any way.

tl;dr quit bit‎ching about freebies, it makes you look bad. Focus on more important problems like the ever-presemt double-hit bug, and the occasional units freezing in place, you know, real problems.

Figured I'd mention that they DID disable double PvP tickets a short while ago, so when this was posted, it was 35% for all loot, now it's 35% for everything except PvP tickets due to a bug. They'll apparently be pushing an update out in early April that fixes it.

Wow, that's some condescending stuff there Foggy. The data I linked clearly shows an average double locker rate of about 23% in legendary rather than 35% over a sample size of more than 300 lockers. Sounds like a pretty valid statistical sample size to me buddy, I think you need to reevaluate your stats attacks.

It's not complaining about free stuff, it's complaining about false advertising for prize odds, driving behaviour that ends in wasted cash resources. Big difference.

Lol foggypaws, you don't know how they've implemented the algorithms, the very fact that there's been a mistake gives us enough reason to doubt that they are applying everything correctly, unless you are certain of the code they use to determine the alleged 35% you are in no place from preventing people to question the new system : p. The disabling double loot of pvp tickets in lockers is ambiguous as everything else, where again, you don't know how they've implemented the quick fix, after all the bugs you are willing to put your hands on fire guaranteeing their good practice? I don't think so buddy, if you let this pass you just nourish the idea that we can just coexist with bugs and bad practices.

It only isn't 35% anymore because of the missing PvP tickets, as the follow-up post says. Your small sample size would likely average out to be pretty close to 35% if they hadn't disabled the PvP tickets from doubling. Also, the tickets missing, got any screenshots of faulty PvP tickets? I tend to believe that people who were freaking out over the visual bug, didn't actually take the time to look at how many tickets they actually gained at every turn, not just what the lockers said they got. I saw it a few times too, but my tickets were all of doubled values as normal. I had the same thing happen to a T&P I got from a locker, instead of getting just 1, the "Best Loot" screen showed 2 T&P's, when I got them, the big X2 appeared, but I didn't get 4 because the "Best Loot" screen was already accounting for the doubled T&P before I opened the locker, hence visual bug.

Not only that, but less than 1 day later they posted the Dragonslayer Red teaser, and apologized for the mistake on their end. People always freak out acting like Redlynx is some huge big-name company with the resources to make sure everything is flawless before it comes out. They aren't Ubisoft, they're a small Finnish Dev team that primarily makes Motocross games. Calm down.

I still disagree with your philosophy of preventing people's autonomy to question the system, that's also a way of giving feedback, and I'm sure it's a resource for them even if it's annoying to your eyes and probably in theirs as well. Apologies won't put green cash to make up for the losses incurred to my account when I thought I could get double pvp loots , and that's the bottom line here, people want some kind of retribution.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't question the system, I'm saying that it's never going to get your message across if you freak the **** out and make yourselves look bad on the forums. A well worded and civil approach will likely get you much further. Maybe convince everyone to email Redlynx some kindly worded requests for information, updates on bugfixes, and stuff like this.

As for retribution, I'm certain that a "We're Sorry" pack will make it's rounds, give it time and don't worry so much.

Not worry at all buddy, I'd take your own advice on civil approach before you decide to tell people to quit *****ing about freebies , because nothings is really free, and in my eyes, the '*****ing' can be transformed into feedback and I'm simply reacting to your reaction, don't try to prevent people from expressing themselves when they've been ****ed somehow . People have been civil countless times about bugs and issues, this is still civil with a coating of frustration.

Nope, 300 is a huge sample size statistically speaking, more than enough to draw valid conclusions. I’m curious what part of my messages make you think in “freaking out” anyway. It’s some pretty mild (internet wise) criticism backed up by factual data.

They screwed up man, and then it was flat out denied when proof exists. Simple as that.

It's not really you that's freaking out, it's just that every time anything goes wrong on RL's end, everyone seems to start slinging sh‎it without just asking nicely. And no, 300 is not a very large sample size, that's 100 games at most, which can be finished quite quickly between you and your friend, one day of research at worst, and one string of bad luck could muddle those results. A sample size of 1000 games would be irrefutable evidence. Also as I said, your followup post talks about not accounting for the removal of the PvP ticket drops. When the PvP tickets were still doubled, it was 35%, from mine, and my team's experience. It only worsened about 2-3 days ago, which is when they removed the PvP ticket doubling.

While I agree they should have been more clear on exactly when they stopped the PvP ticket doubles, I doubt your findings based on the findings of my in game team, and my own experience. The worst thing to come of this whole experience is the loss of in game cash for a day or two before I learned that PvP tickets aren't doubled, which is the only thing I was seeking out with my Cartman Cash.

I was being civil, you just decided to skip ahead to the tl;dr, so I'm going to assume you didn't read my post. You only ever complain about things. You post all the time on the forums and a solid 80% of your posts, is you whining and complaining.

Also your passive aggressive emojis make you look like a grade-A shi‎tstain, and you're the kind of person that spreads toxicity. All I'm doing is presenting a counter argument, albeit I'm doing it in an abrasive manner.
