Title says it all.
From the matchmaking to the rewards, it is the most unfair, unbalanced aspect of the game.
For example: If you win a ranked match, you get 11% to the new rank, if you lose, you lose 35% of your current rank.
It doesn't matter what reputation you are in, you always get the most random opponents, so it doesn't really matter.
The loot that you get isn't anything special, you also get about 25 steel per mach, so it's not really worth it.
I have no idea how Ubisoft would fix this, but something needs to be done.
