I have a hunch that this is an issue with either a single specific gear item or a corruption that can appear when equipping any specific item because I decided to switch up my player gear and this issue went away. I can't seem to get the shadow to spike anymore. Also, when you look at the artifacting, in the videos it's not always from the same spot on the character leading me to think it's appearing from specific gear.
