yp same for me i learn my lesson when TD 1 come out pre order the game in the end i was all a lieOriginally Posted by Gravelmead Go to original post
Either that or as the year/game progresses upon release you may find that the year pass content indeed has numerous content that keeps the engagement of the community, leaving those like yourself who chose to opt out to begin considering whether you should indeed have purchased the pass whereas deciding to get it later would be slightly more expensive than it would have been during the preorder phase[/QUOTE]Originally Posted by Juiceman851 Go to original post
Nah, been there done that too many times, never been left behind. Just the opposite. Buy it, play a bit with those that bought it, found most go back to the content everyone paid for. Extra stuff becomes dead content.
If I find out I really need it, I'll get it cheaper that those who bought it at pre order.
I chose the Ultimate Edition only because of the advertised additional stash space (gone from most sites now but not all, gamestop still advertises it). Turns out no additional stash space will be included...would have chosen Gold had i known. Yes, i could have re-rolled the purchase but by the time i caught wind of it i already started the pre-download of the game so that is that.
Ditto, an extra $20 or $60 is inconsequential and I get some bennies and support the game, which as far as I can see may get the game of the century award, never mind game of the year!Originally Posted by Durnix Go to original post
But ultimately, it is up to the OP to decide the $$ vs benefits, I wouldn't get the standard edition though, too much in the wind about that and my friend quit TD1 because he bought it and got pissed he didn't get the updates with new content. He totally missed out on what became a awesome game months after release.
