It has no SLI support so it's not worth it.

@OP, yes, it's worth it for the extra cosmetics if you're a collector. If not, well, then it won't be. Up to you really.

I preordered the Ultimate Edition, but I don't think I would recommend it.

So I just wanna know if its worth preordering Ultimate edition? Any thoughts/suggestions welcome

I felt that the UE is worth it for me, here is why in my order...

1. 50 additional stash spaces unlocked at the start. I tend to hoard and it also saves me from having to buy them with SHD at level 30 (supposedly one of the most expensive perks)

2. Cool blueprint for a shotgun, can be remade at every tier.

3. Exotic AK weapon, hoping it is a bit better than the standard starting weapon.

4. Skins, clothing, backpacks. In TD1 I actually used the bonus backpack for quite a while (hoarder)

Granted!, but thats my opinion. For the extra money i dont see them as something i NEED to get,, ok i like the look of the exotic AK but thats it, not worth me the extra cash to use one of say nine is it? separate items, sure you’d agree?! but hey i could be wrong and they could be the next “house” or equivalent but again i’ll certainly obtain them sooner or later just for playing and without paying!, so win win for me if that is the case.
And you’ve played the beta surely so me with an ordinary AK going against the exotic AK in the dz will ‘nearly’ count for nothing anyway, depending on build or rather perks, sooo..!

The skins/outfits though (in my opinion) are garbage for the cost!!

OMG It's ckZ_TheBadFrag back with his hilarious SLI crap, last topic got locked it was so bloody pointless, ckZ you have made my day and I've only been up for 30min.

Oh and I bought the Ultimate to support the dev's, now I hear there's a unique turret ability... stoked!

I personally think it's worth it.. But you just have to ask yourself and look at what the Ultimate Edition offers in the way of the items/content that the Ultimate Edition has over the other versions. Gold Edition just offers the Year 1 Pass and the 3-day early access to play, while the Ultimate has Year 1 Pass, 3-day early access, Elite Agent Pack, Battlewarn Secret Service Pack, and the First Responder Pack.. which are exclusive skins for the Ultimate Edition for a $20 premium over the Gold Edition.

So, if your trying to decide between the Gold or the Ultimate Edition, just have to ask yourself if you really want the extra skins, Exotic AK-47, a unique emote, and a 'exclusive' skill effect for the turret. All pre-orders get the Capitol Defender Pack (outfit and exotic SPAS-12 shotty). For me, the Ultimate Edition was worth it..

"Self, is the extra money worth the few days of early access, cosmetics, and jump start on other stuff everyone see will get for free?"

Self forgot to factor in the Year 1 pass content which is not received for free by others. That content is exclusive.
