Of course, if it's something you want or are going to find useful then it is worth it. I was thinking along the lines of stuff that was basically a lucky dip, that is never worth the risk.

Well I guess from the differentiation in price it would make sense! But only if you actually want to use the selection of weapons/skins/outfits you get. If you find you dont or wont use them then rather than benefit from the extra 10AUD you will have wasted it

I'm getting the standard edition. Not because I don't want to [get a higher edition] but because for me there is next to no value in the season pass.
Cosmetics, some weekly bounties, and a bit of time delayed access to free DLCs; not much value imo.

I think biggest pull from gold to ue is the weapons blueprints and the extra cosmetics, so it totally has a good bonus on the crafting side but really its on if you think those cosmetics are worth it. Are they something you will miss if you dont buy it etc. So look at the packages as whole and go with your gut.

Same, just couldn’t justify it. Work too much as it is anyway l, so the time to play is a mute thing.

Depends on what you think you get out of it. Like Gravelmead, I only buy standard. Almost never found the extra stuff worthwhile or used. I learned my lesson also and never buy things like 1 year add-ons, passes etc.

My only exception was The Witcher 3 pass which had another 60-70 hours of gameplay for me. I think it end up in actuality bring more time played.

If it is eight new missions, I take it will be like say Battlefield maps bought under Premium. Large portion of player base won't buy so most of those maps will quickly fade out on use. The crowd will be with the vanilla maps do that is where I will be.

Sure eight missions and rest of stuff I'd likely never use, wear, etc. How often will I likely play those 8 missions with all that will going on in D2? For my available game time, once and done most likely. Then back to the other stuff. Really won't miss it.

Either that or as the year/game progresses upon release you may find that the year pass content indeed has numerous content that keeps the engagement of the community, leaving those like yourself who chose to opt out to begin considering whether you should indeed have purchased the pass whereas deciding to get it later would be slightly more expensive than it would have been during the preorder phase

I'd say get the base game only, for now, as the yearly pass will come out later, and most of the content the yearly pass unlocks is not going to be there till a while after launch anyway. So the yearly pass is not going to do much of anything at release. Then again I may just be bitter as I lack the funds to order gold while refunding my standard, Takes to long for the funds to go back in the bank.

I myself, don't care about skins and vanity stuff, as I never ever buy stuff like that in games, maybe if it just uses the normal ingame funds you earn, but if its needs special currency or cash shop stuff for skins I never bother as its a waste of money in my eyes. Which is why I am fine with a game having cosmetics only in a cash shop, they do not effect the game at all, and I don't need them.

It has no SLI support so it's not worth it.
