Doesnt solve the dc problem, a friend of mine gets those daily, mostly due to second long lag spikes which he experiences a handful of a day. Meanwhile you have people lagswitching all game long and who get dc after 10mn or so
Longer penalty would prob discourage some players of quitting, but will most likely increase the number of people who just afk and wait for it to be over
Perhaps adding a steel/exp penalty could substitute for the timer penalty? 15 minutes for the first offense is somewhat severe. (Though understandable) On many occasions players are faced with near unwinnable odds. Breach and Dominion has existed with toxicity for seasons. (Season 2 Console till now)
REWARD players who stay THINK players SHOULD get EXTRA bonuses IF fighting players with bots on their team , its OBVIOUS you got less odds and little chance of winning if players leave and your stuck and put in **** for carrying on , sometimes EVEN at start of match its myself/friend and 2 bots against 4 good players HARDLY fair so for sticking it out SHOULD be rewarded

you can still create a custom game to fight bots or practice in the training arena..
The penalty applies to any game mode where you can earn steel/Xp. Why should they allow quitters to still gain steel/xp after they just put their team at a disadvantage.
I think if you leave the match like go to the start menu and choose to leave a game hit them with a penalty if they go ask or lag out maybe give the a lesser penalty and for god sakes make the team temporarily invulnerable and not able to be stuned until a amount of time passes short like 5 or 6 seconds or until they attack or use a feat so you know while I just spawned I don't get attacked this especialy applys to breach as there are many points where when you spawn you can be shot by a Ballista.
