What gear sets would you want to have ingame? | Forums

I thought I'd make a positive thread for a change. If you could design your own gear sets, what would they look like? There seems to be quite a difference in opinions. I've seen people wanting more realism while others prefer more fantasy looks (or edgy looks). Maybe it could also serve as a guideline for Ubi to see what the community wants in terms of cosmetics. Not everyone was too happy with the gear sets we received in Season 8 so this sparked my interest.

So feel free to share pictures or a detailed explanation etc.

If this thread ends up buried beneath spam or gets ignored, I wouldn't really mind, but it'd be nice to talk about something else than balance once in a while.

So I'll start this thread of with what I'd like to have.
I myself am more leaning towards fantasy looks rather than 100% realistic looks, but I'd say no thanks to revealing clothing, that has no place in the game imo.
As you can see viewing my profile pic, I'm a Shaman main. Her gear sets are imo way too similar and she needs something else. I don't like a lot of headpieces she has.
Her gimmick might be that she's a savage, but I'd imagine at some point in her life she adopted some of the viking's culture because she joined them in the faction war over a year ago.

Something like this would imo fit Shaman well:



Edit: removed the other pictures as they took up a lot of space and didn't really suit Shaman. Sure some would fit Valk, but I feel like Valk deserves better sets.

Because I'd imagine that she'd adopt some of the viking's culture because she has been fighting for them for a while. She's already got mini versions of Valkyrie and Warlord shields on her back so I don't see why they couldn't give her a gear set that's a bit different. The newer Highlander sets also seem to have a bit more of a viking-ish look.



It'd be cool to see cultures combine, might give some neat gear sets.
Maybe the outfits don't really fit her, but I do believe most of the hairstyles I shared would fit her well.
The third one I shared, the one with the face paint I like the most.

Geez! I haven't seen this helmet yet, looks like a very bad try to adopt a vendel era based helmet.

I'd like knights to be wearing more/different types of plate armor, and I'd like Vikings to have the option of looking like actual historical Vikings (basically primitive looking knights). And I don't care if it'd be black prior or warden, but I want at least ONE knight that can dress as a crusader, proper surcoat, cloak, chainmail and all

Furthermore, I'd like to see the option to go without a helmet for all characters. Have it disable the ability to wear ornaments if it must, I think most people would be on board with that

I'd take the armour from the lawbringer and whack it on the warden, then make him have a stab move.

On a serious note i'd totally turn highlander into he-man (complete with bearskin nappy thingy)

This might be slightly off-topic, but I would like a general option to turn on/off capes. I am using the new armour set for Lawbringer and it looks really intimitading, but the cape is so darn ugly ;b
I would much more like to see the plate armour on his back with some nice engrievings maybe.

But all in all, I would like more plate armour for the knights and also for Vortiger especially.
