Nothing easier than stealthy taking out bad guys without alerting others, using sniper rifle with a silencer! Sniper rifle....but without a silencer!? Very good! Plus for developers. At last they start adding a bit hardcore to the game. What I hated before .....there is a tower or some high place near every outpost. You are just climbing up, disabling alarm-system, shooting down bad guys, everything with a silenced sniper rifle. First, second, third outpost it's, yes, may be interesting...But than? This is getting bored. It becomes a tedious job. Mathematics. Yes, you can use other tactics...Rambo style, crawling stealth killing...But people mostly use the easiest, effective, or better to say the most easily- effective tactic. People choose optimal result with the least efforts. And they climb, disable alarms, shooting down bad guys...than again they climb, disable alarms, shooting bad guys...again and again...Repeatability. Discontent increases. People start to complain - "Far Cry - the same again. Old filling in new packaging." Repeatability lulls. People need to be woken up sometimes. With the help of "surprises" or little "shokers". For example.....oops! No tower or higher place near outpost. Oops! Outpost full of dogs. Oops! Vehicles with supplies are coming and leaving outpost. Absense of a silencer for sniper rifle is one of these "Oops!" Game should have many "Oops!" Many shokers. Through the whole walkthrough. Developers should be vile. They should be snakes. Not a good, helping, guys! "I'll help you, gamer" - would be wrong motto. "I'll make you suffer" - would be right - "It won't be an easy walk!" Far Cry shouldn't be a cakewalk.Originally Posted by reg0912 Go to original post

O.k! If you want to get a silencer for a sniper rifle......you can get it there! But without all those "giveaways" from developers' side Far Cry would be much better! We are attracted to the things that run away from us. Only overcoming challenges will make the game better. One day you will understand it! One of the biggest problem of Ubisoft games.....Yes, they are beautiful. Very beautiful - but not so interesting as a Game!![]()
