Just got New Dawn, loving it!

Hi, just wanted to say a big "thank you" to Ubisoft for bringing back Hope County. I just got New Dawn and I am loving it.

I love that I go to certain areas and I can recognize them from FC5. It brings back memories from playing FC5 and having a great time.

I am doing all quests (including side ones) and exploring all areas, so I will not be done playing for a while. I am also doing co-op play at times, which is awesome.

It would be great to see some expansions (DLC) for New Dawn in the near future with new "Expeditions". They are a blast.

    Thanks again Ubisoft!

    I love this game too.

I also just bought New Dawn a few days ago. I love this game. I really love and enjoy the new mechanics of needing certain tier weapons for the certain tier enemies. And upgrading the base. Fantastic game.

Agreed, I was especially surprised at the time they put into making several different maps for expeditions. I also like that there's no forced captures and very little Bliss stuff, and the one bliss mission is done much more tastefully than in FC5. Being able to scavenge and replay outposts with tougher enemies is just icing on the cake. One thing I never see mentioned that I'm also enjoying is Monstrous beasts. They can be a lot of fun to take on.

I like the idea of having a Base in the game! Always wanted to have some kind of camp or asylum where we could have a rest, craft something.... Always good to have a safe place in the game where you will always return after hard day. But such Base or stronghold should be fortificated over time. We can fortificate it not like in Fallout4 - log by log, but choosing a certain project or plan. Not every gamer will be happy to be bothered by building in Far Cry. But to have a choice from a variety of projects would be good. For example, different projects of barbed wire fortification, different projects of bunkers, underground bunkers and tunnel systems, in case of retreat, projects of barricades.....and so on. Closer to the end, according to the law of the genre, our base should be attacked badly. And if everything was planned right and right people were in the right places our base would survive and stand up.
