These are my pet peeves from the Division 1 and I hoping someone who spent a lot of time in the beta could answer them for me. Thanks in advance for answering my questions


  1. Are Ally NPC AI, damage, and drawing fire improved?
    1. Can NPC kill enemy mobs? In the Division 1 solo mission I would often watch JTF barely doing any damage while I have to kill every single enemy myself. I had an enemy come into the center of the ally NPC group and shoot at me from behind while no ally took him down
    2. Do ally NPC draw enemy fire? One thing I hated about solo gameplay in Division 1 is that all the enemy mobs all seems to concentrate shooting at me rather than spreading their attention to the entire ally group, even if I was hiding and farthest away

  2. How does Division 2 scale each zone? In Division 1 each zone seems to scale to player level and not necessary follow the level says on the map. I remember returning back to early story zone (near when the helicopter landing) and I was easily kill the free roaming mobs but then all the sudden I turned around a corner I was fighting against mobs that were 10+ level than what I was fighting. It went from one or two shot killing to fighting against bullet sponge.
  3. Do free roaming mobs often cross path with mission?
    1. While soloing a side mission free roaming enemy mobs would join in the fight and make the mission a lot more difficult. I had a free roaming sniper sniping at me so I decided to chase her down but the next thing I know I failed the mission because I went outside the mission zone.
    2. While free roaming I received side mission alert for being close proximity, but he next thing I know I was getting shot at even though I was no where near any enemies

  4. Are blueprint crafting improved in Division 2? Blueprint in the Division 1 seems kind of useless because
    1. I could get better equipment at the armory.
    2. The levels are spotty in between.
    3. By the time I find the blueprint my level is above
    4. For alternate I would just use the gear from my storage rather than craft as I go.

  5. In dark zone, the issue I had was going up against a group of rogue agent who were fully gear dark zone gear and camping near the entrance while I only have gear from normal drop. They would pull away just far enough not to show up or wait until the rogue timer runs out then repeat.
  6. Is there anyway to replay the story mission with the same character? One thing I liked about the Division 1 was the early level where you can kill enemy within reasonable amount of bullet so my favor thing to do is replay the early story mission. However, for me to do that in the Division 1 I had start over with an alternate character.
