On playstation pro, there is an issue with the size of UI elements that causes tremendous confusion throughout the game.
One area is the "an agent needs your help" message which appears with what looks like the center button icon.
Pressing and holding the center button icon appears to be the expected response, as the icon glows white in recognition. However, the next thing shown is the map.
EXPECTATION:
I would expect to instantly join this users session and hear gunfire.
Short of that, I would expect the map to be completely dim with only the user's location shown. There should be a full size and very clear accept dialog to continue to the location of the player in need. I should be able to see their
-- NAME
-- HEALTH
-- MEDKITS
-- XP
-- LEVEL
CURRENT RESULT
As it stands, I just see a map. Perhaps I miss the call to arms EVERY time (?). Perhaps I'm pressing the wrong UI element.
I ended up tabbing over to the matchmaking area and selecting agents in need. Seemingly joining some other random person's session rather than the one that prompted the request. There is no clear connection between the call to arms and the immediate firefight.
IDEAL OUTCOME:
If the person is low on life, I would expect them to get a "adrenaline dose" to keep them alive and in the session until I load and arrive. I dont want to join a user back at a respawn area. I want to help people in need.
The CALL FOR HELP should be like the old ULT where you get an extra life.
