Platinums too easy? Especially at the easy leveled tracks the times between platinum and diamond vary at 3 (?) seconds. And to get a diamond medal, you'll need to drive near pure perfection. Nothing less.

I think they could lower both time limits (plat + dia), so that it is possible to get all platinums at least with a bit practice, and don't let diamond for the ultra pros only left. You actually need the knowledge of Ninja tricks and so on for having a chance to reach a diamond!

Diamond in general seems far too hard.

And.... the real pros don't matter if you need 20 secs or 24 for a certain medal - they will go for the top of the leaderboards ANYWAY. They won't care, I'm sure.

For those guys they built that "Ninja Level 7/8" stuff. ;-)

I disagree with the point on Ninjas. I never got in to the whole ninja scene on previous Trials game, therefore I am fairly average when it comes to these (passed first 3, could barely get 1/3 through green belt) yet I've got around 15 diamonds so far within normal trials tracks. I much prefer speedrunning tracks as opposed to learning ninja techniques, as that portion of the game I have no interest in.

Yes you will need knowledge of certain techniques and a lot of experience to get diamond metals. However, ninja skills are not required. I, myself have been taking the casual route in Trials since 2012 and haven't done any real ninja riding since then. Going for diamond metals seems to be the perfect amount of difficulty for me for the most part. Some times seem out of my reach and some times seem to easy. Personally I would rather have more times that are too difficult than times that are too easy, so I think they did a good job of balancing diamond metals.

I see you out there TPR_Chemical getting those diamonds. I too have little interest playing ninja tracks. Back in the day, Trials was starting to feel like work for me so I quit doing ninjas and going for top times on the leaderboards and almost instantly Trials became fun again. Long story short, Jhop doesn't ninja

That was interesting data in the OP. Since it was a week ago I wondered if the hardest tracks had seen more Diamonds gained. Ski or Don't has 6 Diamonds, while Tilting Windmills still has 0. I wonder how they got that one wrong, when nearly all the other tracks are around the right level. I assume the devs wanted the top 100-200 getting Diamonds on each track, not 0-10 in some cases.

Any chance you have an updated list? Ordered by % would be quite helpful as well
Jw man- if not no big deal

Last updated a month ago, but that doesn't matter. Feel free to give me the up-to-date numbers.
This doc is pretty interesting, especially the medal progress. It's cool to see how many diamond medals were made in 4 days from 3/6/2019 to 3/10/2019. Good stuff FrozenWaterfall.

I think i might just update list, to add the dlc if anything else. Personally I think that ordering this list by total diamond medals rather than percent is a more accurate. My goal is to list them in order from easiest to hardest. What do you guys think?

I am currently revising the new diamond medal list and I also remove the cheaters from this list. This time around I am finding it harder to spot the illegitimate times because some of the hacked scores are as low as rank 50 or 60. As for the multi accounts, I made the decision to leave them in. It is almost impossible to tell who actually made the run and even with accounts having identical names, that can be done by someone else just using their name.

I agree. I think the pool of riders capable of getting diamond medals is about the same on a beginner track with 200K as it is on a extreme track with 20K. I will still add the percentage to the tracks because I do think the values are relevant.
