    Second - There will always be people who think differently than the others (however that won't change the fact that the old minions are NOT useless)
    And last - I've been playing the game since it came out and I can tell there weren't any bugs. The animations worked just perfectly and it was way more easy and exciting to take zone B than it is now.

    100% agree with you. If you play the campaign, you'll see how cool it is to wipe out minions as warden or raider etc. And yes, Pikemen are not minions, I don't know why people keep counting them as minions. It takes a simple if/else statement that checks the game mode for the animations function.

    Simply have a boolean variable called animationStatus, and use that to enable/disable the animations.

    If (gameMode != breach) {
    animationStatus = true; //enable animations
    } else {
    animationStatus = false; //disable animations
    }

    It's very simple to implement, I don't see what is the problem... :/ If you want to eliminate any possibility of bugs etc, you can add other game modes like duels, ranked duels, and brawls into the first check.

    I've programmed myself and I can confirm that if the system fails to make a difference between pikemen and minions, that can easily be fixed with little adjusting in the code. At the very least mark the pikemen as a different archetypes. One thing I've noticed is that minions behave like pikemen - they interrupt executions and revivals. Only difference is that they take 1 hit to kill.

    I even remember, before some patches, that when a minion is killed, he drops a pikeman's shield.

    Pikemans are not minions: They share the same look, hit box and even part of the game code as far as I know.

    Secondly: only because people liked the animations, that doesn’t make the animations not useful on 5/6 of the cast that where faster by just locking on normally.

    Third: I here since season 1 too and there where a couple of unlock and lock on bugs.

    Second part of the third: that’s your opinion and I see it exactly the different way.

    Not to mention you have no active guard during the animations so have fun bring Stuck in a slow animation when are hero with a roll catcher / gab closer is nearby.

    1: They share the same look, but they fight differently and deal different damage. They're basically different archetypes.
    2: "Doesn't make the animations not useful" - that means: It makes them useful, which I agree with you.
    3: Lock on has nothing to do with minions because you don't need to be in guard mode to kill them.
    4: That's good but you can try seeing from another angle sometime...
    5: Yes I had a lot of fun! I don't now.

    Just to spark up a conversation: what did you all love about the minion kill animations? If they're not put back in, what kind of alternative would you want to see added?

    They gotta be trollin man. I dont understand whats so appealing about the minion kill animations. You already get it in the beginning of dom matches lol. I personally love the change to Signature poses. It allows you to stunt with your whole team & flex on your enemy one last time before the match ends, its a great place to snap screenshots to create content, you get to show off you emblem / clan, & it allows for more customization of chars by picking your signature.

    Its waaayyyyyy better like this! No comparison!

    Hold on dude, signatures have nothing to do with killing minions.

    The alternative would be to remove the minions completely and make zone B like the others. But the Best option I see here is to bring them back, not necessarily right now, but maybe with the next major update after the year of the Harbinger, or possibly the update after that.
