The titles explains the issue, its last day of the beta so I'm not really complaining BUT! After release I would hope that whatever reason the game would decide to do this will be resolved. If it does in the near future I would expect direct compensation. (ie. Post recent screenshot/video of character showing gear/details to the character in question with account name in view linked to Forum account. Following those instructions Ubisoft Staff can either generate a character with gear attached or gear that is mentioned to be mailed to account.) Really hope this is a one time incident for the sake of the community that will be putting in their time into your game.

Are you telling them not to delete your beta character and let it carry over to live full release? Because that’s not gonna happen... it’ll absolutely be a fresh character when full release happens next week... they’ve put that out already

oh no that's not what I meant, sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm just stating that the random character deletion is and issue that should be looked into. My beta character is deleted but my friends still have their characters. I'm already aware of the beta not carrying over to the main game. I just don't want to put days and months into a game and have it randomly deleted for whatever reason.

The only way your character gets deleted is if YOU delete it. Or maybe a player is banned for some administrative action that would cause the devs to delete an account/ character as a punishment I’m guessing. I’ve never heard of something like this before, a “random deletion”...

Yea, well I hope you're right and it was just me accidentally deleting it, I didn't get any notification of banned or anything like that so I don't know. I'll just be extra careful after the release.
