The Track Central needs a MASSIVE and SERIOUS overhaul.

    Hello.

After several dozens of hours of playing Trials Rising, I can say I've come to terms with what I like and what I dislike in the game. But I wanna talk about the thing that is without doubt the strongest force of Trials, but also happens to be the weakest point in Rising right now: Track Central.

Let's be honest. Track Central in its current state is abhorrent. The UI is SUPER bad... I don't know what happened during the development process, but whoever thought such a confusing UI was okay probably had a bad day, I dunno. Either way, this is a straight downgrade from Fusion's Track Central UI and it's too much of a downgrade to be acceptable. This and the many, many bugs that came along with publishing tracks are a serious threat to the community aspect of the game. More and more people are refusing to release tracks by fear of seeing them be in the wrong category, and/or have their settings reset, or whatever other bug that could happen. I know it already happened to quite a bunch of builders.

Please fix the Track Central ASAP.

Agreed. Track Central would really benefit from an improved UI and with a better overview of the tracks.

If I recall correctly, even a "smaller" detail as the thumbs up button after a played track felt out of place with it's left side placement.

The left side menu in Track Central is also an area with room for improvements, with a better structure (and maybe icons) to easier find what you're looking for.

I honestly can't believe they released it in this state. It's complete garbage and a millions steps back from what Fusions was. TC is the lifeblood on the game after initial release when people stop grinding the main tracks. It kept the previous games alive for years. The leaderboards are bugged to hell and you never show up on them half the time, when you play track in one section (say, Ninjas) and backout of the track you're immediately placed in the main screen again and have to navigate back to where you were in a laggy *** menu system. Searching is a convoluted mess. Filtering is almost impossible. You can't immediately tell which tracks you have played without two or three steps. The voting, instead of being a simple L2 or R2, encourages skipping voting instead since most people just spam the button when finishing. This needs to be addressed ASAP, it needs to be rebuilt from the ground up IMO.

Trials HD still remains to be the standard after all this time.

Lol. Did you ever make tracks in hd? I did, dozens of em. I remember only being able to share tracks with people on my friends list. I remember xbox only allowing 100 friends, so I constantly had do delete people and make room for others that wanted to play my tracks. I also remember only being able to share 7 tracks at a time, so i was juggling my tracks around to give people a chance to download them all. Any form of track central is better than what HD was.

Well I ran tracks from L0RD Melchett, o SKUMBAG o, o Paralyzer o, AkatsukiUK, katamariUK, tootaII, QcChopper, etc. It just wasn't near the issue that the current state of Track Central is in, which is a mess. I'm hopeful they will improve it over some time but I still stand that Trials HD had the leanest meanest overall ease of use format in my opinion. Your opinion may be different, that's cool.

Wow. I honestly can't believe how trash the UI for Rising's Track Central is. I've tried playing user-created tracks a handful of times over the last few days and each time I turn off the game after a single track because being taken back to the main hub in TC and having to wait for tracks to load that are irrelevant to my skill level drains the life out of me.

Everything about the current Track Central sucks.

Wherever you go, be it here, reddit, neogaf, steam, era, everyone is enjoying the game but really disliking the same things, TC, UI, Stadiums, Crates, Progression. It's so clear that the track design team and the people behind the structure and progression are from different planets.
