The best gear set in this game. Change my mind

The best gearset in d1 and i hope a similar variation shows up in d2 is nomad before the nerf. So many lives and a defense buff. So sexy.

There is no perfect gear set, that is something special I like a lot at The Division, you got endless variations of set parts, that can be modified for it's purpose.

I'm like Neo. I have my go-to sets, which starts with the D3 for anything I need to make sure I stay up in such as going for flawless runs. For PvP the shield was nerfed into oblivion but for PvE it is awesome and can be adjusted from tank for group legendary or a mix for solo challenging with ease.
One of my favorites to play is Firecrest. Just light up the entire room. I have several different builds of it too. Full electronics for damage and CC, or firearms to use with UrbanMDR.

They have already said there won't be anything like Classifieds in TD2. I think we'll have to mix/match two gear sets to find what works the best. I do hope they have something similar to a ninja bag. While I didn't get it early enough my original play thru to use, on my 2nd account I got it early and now that I even have a full set, I still use it.

A D3's a real gamechanger. I did flawless commendations with it. And Firecrest's a lot fun - in a "sick" way. But virtually, I can live with that.

I like pred, always have and always will. Requires a lot of skill to use now. If it was as simple as 10 shots, it'd be the meta. Fact is its bwen nerfed so much it requires knowledge and tactics beyond face tanking and i like that. Same with reclaimer, dead eye, lone star and striker now, i like a challenge

You would have to like a challenge, otherwise those sets are useless.

I loved Striker and still do but in consoles its powerless now even when coupling with a showstopper. The fact that build diversity and skill have died to classified GS makes the PVP atrociously annoying.

Personally, my favorite gearset was Lonestar.
What were some of your favorites? and why?

I loved Nomad as an all rounder, good in PVE with the house and hungry hog for red and purple mobs, lightweight m4 and showstopper for yellow elites.

Not enough firepower for winning pvp in the DZ against most rogues but buff the stamina and I have survived many more rogue attacks than have succeeded.

Tactician Authority is great for the daily skill kills quests as 2 sets max out at 460 k skill power, 10 - 12 seconds skill resets with 280 k house and you can survive most events and get your kills easily.

Dead Eye for headshot kills as it gives 700 k hits cold but is squishy so you need distance.

TD1 will be missed for diversity, though many say it died, for me it is a matter of finding out how best to fight to suit the strengths of the set I am wearing.
