I know I'll take some heat for this but do any of you think you could be more forgiving for his English?

Yeah, it's full of mistake of all sorts(grammatical, syntax, orthographic, etc...) but it's not that difficult to understand what he's trying to say.

I myself am not a native English speaker and began learning the language on my own 25 years ago(the English lessons we had in high school were useless) and it's not an easy thing to do(learn a new language). I can tell you that any sort of non constructive negative comments on his English will only feed the frustrations that one can already get from trying to learn something new.

You might not realize this but this is a sort of toxicity.

To be clear, I completely disagree with him on the topic at hand and did reply in length in the previous thread he posted about this but regardless of that, I'd never make fun of him for his English. Hell, if I started making fun of people's written English on these forums, I'd bet that most of my "targets" would be native English speakers...

learning a second language isn't that hard.persian/farsi is my mother language, english is my second language and i know german and arabic as my third and fourth.i might have been making fun of his english, but have you considered that he's a troll?he's here trolling and we're laughing because of his trolling.
