Actually one hit one kill would make this game an actual Tom Clancy Masterpiece but i doubt that will ever happen..Originally Posted by KPXT32 Go to original post
Disagree completely the closed beta was way to hard, this one has been perfect.. difficulty wise, low levels should be low difficulty. Make a game too hard and customers leave.Originally Posted by BXNNXD Go to original post
im sorry.. have you ever heard of dark souls? final fantasy xiv? bloodborne? generation snowflake is annoying, i wish the game was hard... this a RPG tom clancy...if you cant solo get friends matchmaking is there....farm better gear, deal with it, i have the feeling only console ppl or bad fps pc players are complaining.Originally Posted by Dante-Yoda Go to original post
In the open beta, it feels like the gun play has suffered from the bullet sponge. In the private beta the red enemies could be dropped with 1-5 shots. Now it can take half a 30 round mag to drop one. It was very disappointing the first time I had to empty a mag to drop a red. Gear was leveled and enemies were same level. Even in endgame I was dumping all 31 rounds into red to get them to drop. It feels that the only way the difficulty was increased was to make you dump more bullets into enemies. I was gowning playing end game wishing to be done every time a 3rd wave showed up. It wasn't challenging, it was dumping mags and moving on. In private, I played more tactically to clear harder areas using way less ammo.
I'll sum up in 2 sentences:
private beta was promising and I was considering buying the game. Open beta, not planning on buying it.
i have no idea what you are talking about... red bar drop with 2 tap from sidearms...Originally Posted by Shinling Go to original post
The more difficult the pve game is the better. I preferred a hard NPC with an orginal TD1 (pre-patched). This brilliant AI NPCs they have time to make spectacular tactical decisions. The golden element of this game is the unlikely AI, the best in the game industry at the moment. Competition is 10yrs behind you. Bullet sponge is very very ok for me. Destiny and Athem are the same. Its norm into hardest rpg games.
What I want is all the little tools and options Division 1 gave us. We had several grenades to CC enemies, which opened up opportunities to flank, move and fight. Pretty much all the enemies had a weakpoint to exploit if you were a good shot, or had teamwork. You could also use the CC Grenades and teamwork to take advantage of weakpoint.
Divison 1 Heavies, instead of just duking it out, back and forth with him, you could shock nade, then as he's flailing around, shoot his backpack, then while hes losing health, unload. Division 1 combat feels more rewarding and involved. Division 2 combat its all just guns, guns, guns. The heavies, your only option is your gun....you just burrow through the armor and hope you brought a strong enough drill bit....and all you hope is that he dies before you do, as you two gun it out, back and forth....feels very basic and very like 1999 gaming....big, slow lumbering, hard hitting enemy with a bucket and a quarter of hitpoints and all you do is run around in circles shooting as you get the chance, and hope you survive long enough to kill them.....
I dont want them to die in 1 shot, that wouldnt be Division. I just want options back.....
"I really hope they remove the bullet sponges, can't stand it."
I posted a comment similar to yours - i hate the True Son gang, seriously, they're like animals, not humans. To make them worse they are like bulletproof characters.
I was able to complete True Son gang mission only by playing the mission multiplayer mode with others I don't even know...
Really, developers? If you want a lot of customers getting the game make the enemy easier to defeat.
Yes i wouldn't play them even if they paid me.. let alone buy them.Originally Posted by Alanwsl Go to original post
