The title pretty much says it all. People are just wanting more and more nerfs to enemies and it's not needed. Go back to the Private Beta status and call it a day. That's all I'm going to say on the subject because I don't want to go on a rant and have an entire Paragraph here hahaha.![]()
I really hope they remove the bullet sponges, can't stand it. There are workarounds so everyone can be happy, because the community is split on the subject. For example, red bar enemies should never feel like sponges, elites should feel spongier, unless you have an attack the target is weak to, removing the enemy sponginess, e.g., their shield. Once the shield is gone they get nuked.

I haven't had a problem with the enemies being bullet sponges. They die way to fast now in my opinion. The guys with armor Should take a good amount of bullets to knock their armor off and then once their armor is gone on say the arm then you focus the arm and he drops because he has no armor on his arm. I have noticed that there is a bug or something going on in the public where after you knock their armor off and it's just their exposed body part it still will show the armor symbol. Enemies in the private beta weren't too hard or to easy to kill it was a good balance I think.
I will agree with you. The Enemies are dying too fast now. I think it has to with the "Decreased armor/health and accuracy". Do not get me wrong, the "increased enemy lethality." somehow counteracts the changes in armor,health and accuracy but only in co-op. Playing the missions solo was a breeze in comparison to Private beta. That is my experience and opinion.

As far as me What I'd like to see reverted is the enemies health and damage as well as their Movement. Why mess with the enemies movement? It makes the game more challenging and makes the enemies full more real and not just something in front of you that you just shot at and they die. That's no fun and as for the Damage if they do like they did in the Private you needed cover but in the public, you don't really need it. I can just run through the missions and open world and just kill everything. this was a big problem in D1 was you never really needed to use cover half the time. Now, Things that I liked. The only really big thing was the Suicide Drone decrease. In the private it was crazy It would seem like they had unlimited and could send out 20 at one time lol. To sum it up the only things I saw a change on that I didn't like that changed from the private was the enemy Health, damage, and Movement.
Don't revert any of the changes. You're close to a good balance now. I don't want tremendous 200 shots into veteran enemies style health, but I also don't want it to get any faster than it is currently. If people played the level 30 missions they would see its not that bad right now and theres tons of room for more difficulty/health in harder difficulty modes.
This is an ARPG action role playing game, the genre as a basic has bullet sponges to a degree (ie destiny/ESO/anthem/Diablo etc etc etc)
Please no one hit kills it will ruin the game (just because its set in modern times with modern weapons and gear doesn't mean to say it should be real life.
The private beta was almost spot on the open beta was a joke for starters to easy and the nerfs were not needed.
I implore the devs to have what the private beta was in terms of enemies (bar th 3 and 4 man grouped because that was borked and a wildly known issue)
