Dear Ubisoft, please enlighten me. Is this a tactical game ? Is this game trying to imitate real strategical elements of the real combat environments and mechanics of the real system ? If that's so then HOW the FU*K am I on alert when i miss a shot from 758 meters away and all of a sudden a helicopter is just popping out of the sky and starts to shooting at me while I'm laying down in the most dense jungle environment in the history of combat in the middle of a forest with trees above my head in the middle of the night in all black suit. I mean if you're running in the woods and there isn't even searching lights on the heli that's after you and they shoot as accurate at night as a freakin' robot would do. Please WORK on the detection system, try to reevaluate your effort took in to this system and try to be more creative with the system, because a simple aimbot won't work as an AI enemy.
UI.: In GTA V if you are hiding somewhere in the neighborhood the enemy looses you when you're out of sight and they don't know where you are so they're cautious about searching after you and after awhile they're giving up. They don't send 40 cars with 200 bald bolivians after you, that's unreal. I know the fact that you kill a whole camp of armed guys is also unreal. But the fact that it's 2019 and the game doesn't take environmental hiding seriously is a problem. Then what the hell is grass, bushes, and trees are good for, if not for hiding when you are in danger ?
Thank You for reading whoever you are.
I'm not going to reply to any future messages. So needless to reply anything unnecessary.
It's called "making the game more challenging." It's sadly like that in most shooters these days. I disagree with such methods of making the game more challenging, bullet sponges and ****. My way of doing it would be to equalise the damage values for players and hostile AI - so while you could kill enemies in say three hits (omgz0rz game is 2 EZ), they could also kill you in three hits. But I'm not a game developer so what do I know?
Passa a italiano
My dream was a Ghost war with a real detection system (dressed as a civilian to go unnoticed even walking on foot in front of the unidad or practically impossible to detect if you shoot from a bush dressed in a camouflage and a silenced weapon) with a factor plausible protection with the equipment worn (maximum freedom of movement and speed with t-shirt without tactics or heaviness with maximum protection from enemy shots wearing helmet and bulletproof vest)
But none of this
How do you know a guy complaining without actually understand the subject?
- says shoot from 758m away and missed
- says enemy immediately detect and send chopper and they immediately caught up and shoots
- claims GTAV otherwise lets you hide to get away from enemy and GRW doesn't have foliage cover
Anyone who plays the game fairly decent knows how bollocks his complain is, easily deduced that he's plain suck who doesn't even bother to learn or just repeating another sucky player.
OP doesn't even want to be responsible of what he says. Gamers nowadays in a nutshell.
I am not really sure why am I a sucky player ? I am 32 years old and playing games since 1993 as I got my first Nintendo console and game (Secret of Mana). I'm a casual player because I work 12 hours a day including the Saturdays, after a long *** day, I like to play games. I'm not the most skilled gamer, but I stated I was shot from a chopper like 1-2 to seconds from detection, while i was lying on the ground between foliage, in a forest at night. Now please tell me, that's okay and totally normal. And it wasn't the first time, not even the second. I care about making the game better. And Instead of just calling everyone a "sucky player", please think before you're saying anything offensive to anyone. And have a nice day.![]()
They already tweaked the detection rates 2 times already and (for how long they track you)the timer going from (engaged to hunted) was changed as well as the detection for sams. I had times like how the heck did they lose me, I was right there. A few times. How dumbed down to you want them to go. When they detect you (not visually) just shoot a few shots into the air, then move they will go to the last place they think they heard the shots. Funny how you bring up GTA with it's scripted BS. Like when you test and shoot off a freshly earned gun out in the middle of freaking nowhere with no PEDs around the cops somehow know your exact location right away. So don't even try. I hated that and I hated that the NPCs lose you way to easily in GTA5. I have to keep getting their attention so they can keep chasing me. GTA5 is so dumbed down it isn't even funny. At one point I had to use a cheat mod(like more enemy spawns) to make the game harder then I got tired of it.
The main campaign is actually very forgiving. You can try playing on Arcade mode, pretty sure on Arcade or even Regular they don't react like that. Even on Tier Mode they don't react like that.
Here some notes to help you out:
Usually the distance they start cautiously walking towards you is in the ~300m-500m range. Anything less and they are in "Hunted" mode and coded to go towards the shot location. Anything more than 500m and they're usually just lost especially if you fire and move. If you were firing and staying in the same spot then... I find it fine that the AI will narrow the source of the shot. If the helicopter spawned that means the alarm went off. Alarm towers trigger a heli or 2 technical reinforcements. No alarm, but them radioing an enemy triggers 2 technical reinforcements.
Also if you are playing solo, there's a soft distance cap of 650m for the game to spawn or despawn enemies. Also adding if you were playing with friends or randoms and they were detected and in "Engaged" mode, you are automatically detected if you're in the vacinity. Kind of lame, but that's the code.
Also, from my personal experience, wearing a guillie in a bush has some hidden added evade detection value versus not wearing it.
